From 1991 to 2000, he worked as an assistant and associate with many musicians. Then there was a break in his musical journey and after a gap of several years, he again stepped into the field of music from 2014. Through many albums and films, he took his music to the people.

Sahajahn Shaikh Sagar says on which singer he feels comfortable working with “We have worked with many singers including Asha Bhosle, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Jubin Nautiyal, Shaan, Shreya Ghoshal, but Raj Burman, Jubin Nautiyal ,Working with Kumar Sanu is a different pleasure, one gets to learn a lot from him.The magic of earlier melodo songs is still intact.
