Yogesh Tripathi, renowned for his role as Daroga Happu Singh in &TV’s “Happu Ki Ultan Paltan,” has a profound passion for exploring historical monuments and unraveling the mysteries of the past. He finds immense joy in immersing himself in the world of historical exploration and gaining knowledge about these ancient places.
Tripathi shares his fascination with historical monuments, saying, “Ever since my school days, I have been enchanted by history and ancient places. I dreamt of visiting palaces and forts when I read about them. While I couldn’t fulfill that dream as a young student, now I’m pursuing it with determination. Whenever I travel, I ensure that I visit historical sites. These trips have strengthened my connection to ancient traditions and provided insights into lifestyles of the past. Exploring various cultures during my journeys makes me feel deeply connected to our heritage, as history is what ties us to something greater. India’s beauty is enriched by its historical monuments. I’ve had the privilege to explore many forts and palaces, with my latest visit being the Gwalior Fort, renowned for its rich history, particularly the ‘Man Mandir’ and Gujari Mahal palaces, both built by the Tomar Rajput ruler Man Singh Tomar. Gwalior Fort, one of India’s oldest forts, is celebrated for its remarkable architecture and historical significance. I devoted time to explore it and capture its beauty. Despite attending a late-night Navratri event in the city, I woke up early to experience the fort at sunrise. This year, I organized a family trip to Udaipur to ensure my children appreciate these wonders. I hope these visits ignite their curiosity, and I will always have companions to explore history with me.”
