Born and raised in Kolkata, West Bengal, Srijita Ghosh comes from a culturally rich Bengali family where classical dance and Rabindra Sangeet were integral parts of daily life. She completed her schooling at Salt Lake Girls’ School and earned her degree from Calcutta University. Inspired by a passion for films from a young age, she practiced acting and expressions diligently, nurturing her dream to become an actress.
Srijita debuted as a lead actress in the Telugu film Katha Venuka Katha (2015) after starting her career with the short film Replication. Marking a new chapter in her career, she also turned producer with the music album “Waliyaan,” under her banner, Srijita Films, where she not only produced but also starred in the lead role. Demonstrating her ambition and vision, Srijita shot and released this 2025 music video in Dubai, a distinctive choice diverging from the usual local shoots in India.
