Jason Tham: I have nothing but love, admiration, and respect for SRK

Actor Jason Tham has nothing but praises for the man who he has always looked up to, actor Shah Rukh Khan. On his birthday, Jason talks about the time he met and interacted with SRK and the amount that he has learnt from him.

“He has shown the world that there is only one religion and that is hard work which I live by. I have been fortunate enough to work with him and also meet him a couple of times. That man is a gem, a charmer, truly humble, highly respected and is fueled with humility,” says Jason, who will soon be seen in the film Rocket Gang.

He adds, “I distinctly remember the day I met Shah Rukh sir. It was at Anand L Rai’s house. Anand sir told me that Shah Rukh will be coming by noon and I was super excited but also had to keep my calm. I will always relive that moment when we greeted each other. He remembered me from our film -Happy New Year, which was shot 5 years back. I was so surprised that he remembered not only me but also instances from the film that he was narrating to Anand sir. I have nothing but love, admiration, and respect for that man.”

SRK’s body of work will always be inspiring, says Jason, adding, “When someone asks me about one superstar who I look up to, it doesn’t even take me a second to say it’s Shah Rukh Khan. He’s a walking, talking example of success. He has changed the way we look at Indian cinema with his iconic roles in films such as Devdas, Chak de India, Darr, DDLJ, Veer Zara, Main Hoon Naa etc. Every character that was thrown at him was done with flair.”
