Q: How did you find out about Pocket FM, and can you share your journey as a writer? A: My journey as a writer began in January 2021 when a friend introduced me to Pocket FM. Writing wasn’t something I had considered before, but I had always loved reading. Despite the initial challenges and lack of experience, I delved into learning about storytelling, character development, and the nuances of writing. I read diverse stories and novels to understand the craft better. With newfound skills and ideas, I began writing on my own and eventually joined Pocket FM, marking the official start of my writing career.

A: “Devil Se Shaadi” is a love story that focuses on the special connections within families, including siblings and parents. The idea for the series emerged from my observations of TV shows and various content. I wanted to create a relatable and down-to-earth story filled with love. The series portrays the journey of a confident young man and a sweet girl who fall in love.

Q: How is writing an audio series different from other content, and what’s important when writing for an audio series? A: Writing an audio series requires careful attention to detail in descriptions and character dialogues. These elements help listeners visualize the story vividly. The goal is to establish a strong connection with the audience and encourage them to imagine the scenes. Therefore, ensuring that listeners can engage with and understand the story through audio is crucial.

While it’s challenging to cater to every viewer’s preference, I strive to create content that appeals to a broad audience.

Q: Who are your inspirations in terms of writing? A: I enjoy reading books across genres, with a special interest in historical works. Chetan Bhagat is one of my favorite authors, and his writings have inspired me significantly.

Failure doesn’t define your potential; it’s a stepping stone to success. Stay determined and keep pushing forward.
