In an interview, he said, “There are many characters in history whose lives I want to write a film on. But my heartfelt desire is to write and make a film on Kanshi Ram’s life.”

Kamal’s desire to write a biopic on Kanshi Ram is not just driven by a personal interest in the subject. He believes that Kanshi Ram’s story has relevance today, and that it can inspire people to work towards social justice and equality.

He said, “Kanshi Ram’s struggle was not just for Dalits, but for all marginalized communities. He fought against casteism, communalism, and other forms of oppression. His message of unity and empowerment is still relevant today, and I hope that a film on his life can inspire people to work towards a more just and equal society.”
