Actress Sherleen Dutt, who has been a part of shows such as KINK and Honey Trap Squad as well as web series Koi Jaye Toh Le Aaye and Shringarika, says that she loves the festival of Holi. She adds that she loves to play with both water and gulaal.
“Holi is all about colours, laughter, and endless fun, and this year, I plan to go party-hopping with my group! We love exploring different Holi parties—ones filled with dance, colours, and water, but without bhang or alcohol. Just pure, high-energy vibes and great music!” she says.
She says, “Definitely pink is my favourite colour. It’s playful, vibrant, and full of life—just like me! It represents joy, warmth, and a mix of strength with a soft side, which I relate to a lot. I enjoy a mix of both! A little gulaal for those who prefer a subtle celebration, but I love playing with water too—it just brings out the real spirit of Holi!”
As for playing with water balloons, she says, “Water balloons can be fun, but they can also hurt. I prefer pichkaris (water guns) and just splashing water around—Holi should be fun for everyone, not painful,” she says.

Talking about Holi memories, she says, “Some of my best Holi memories are from childhood—running around with cousins, sneaking up on people with pichkaris, and ending the day with homemade sweets. The carefree joy of those days is irreplaceable!”
As for Holi preps, she says, “I always apply a good amount of coconut oil on my hair and body before heading out. It creates a protective layer, making it easier to wash off the colours later. Also, a little sunscreen never hurts. Holi is incomplete without gujiyas, dahi vadas, and chaat! I love indulging in these festive treats while dancing my heart out.”
She adds, “I’m making it special! I’m designing my own Holi outfit. While white is the classic choice, I’m adding my personal touch to it. This Holi, it’s all about good music, bright colours, and crazy dance moves. No intoxication—just pure, high-spirited fun. Let’s make it a day to remember!”
