With the India-Pakistan situation stabilizing, actress-stylist Riddhima Sharma says that this is the time to be full of gratitude for our defence forces. With the India Army, Navy, Air Force and BSF’s exemplary performance in the recent days, she says that she feels proud to be an army daughter today.
The actress-stylist took to Instagram to share her thoughts with her fans. She writes, “As an Army daughter, I grew up admiring my father’s uniform, which he wore with pride and precision. Being an officer’s daughter taught me valuable lessons: resilience, boldness, confidence, and time management. We learn to adapt, hustle, and thrive in any environment. Today, we sleep safely because of our armed forces – Army, Navy, BSF, and Air Force.”
The actress is also doing her bit. “As a resident of Chandigarh, I’m proud to be a volunteer, ready to contribute to the safety and unity of our community,” she writes
She adds, “Let’s show gratitude, kindness, and unity. Salute to all forces! We’re Hindustani, united in diversity – Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, and more. Let’s pray for peace and harmony. Thank you to our armed forces. Jai Hind!” As a volunteer for Chandigarh, Punjab, and all of Hindustan, let’s stand united! Together, we can ensure each other’s safety, perform selfless service (seva), and fight for a common cause. Unity in diversity is our strength. Let’s work together towards a better tomorrow.”
Tensions between India and Pakistan had escalated following recent strikes targeting terrorist camps across the border. Following a ceasefire, the situation between the countries seemed to have calmed down. However, Pakistan reportedly violated the ceasefire agreement along the Line of Control, triggering fresh tensions at the border. Indian forces responded swiftly, reinforcing their positions in safeguarding the country.
