In a shocking incident at Mahakumbh, women were secretly filmed while bathing, and these videos are reportedly being sold. Actress Muskaan Agarwal has strongly condemned the act, calling out not just the perpetrators but also the authorities for failing to ensure women’s safety at the religious gathering.
Slamming the lack of security, Muskaan expressed her outrage, stating, “These videos are made by mentally sick people, and it’s not just one or two individuals—many people are involved in such things. Where is the government now? What are they doing? Instead of focusing on real issues, they are wasting time debating over one word said by a YouTuber. But what about the genuine concerns?”
She further questioned the arrangements made for women at Mahakumbh, emphasizing that the organizers should also be held accountable. “Those who filmed the videos are criminals, but so are those who failed to provide safe facilities for women. Everything at Mahakumbh was kept in the open. There should have been designated spaces for women to bathe safely, separate from men. The fact that this wasn’t taken care of shows how neglected women’s safety still is.”
Muskaan also pointed out how people are quick to make a girl go viral just because of her looks, but real issues like this do not get the attention they deserve. “Social media is busy making someone famous for their eyes, but no one is talking about the crimes happening against women. How many more such incidents must have taken place that we don’t even know about?”

On whether this mentality can change, the actress was blunt in her response. “This mentality didn’t change before, and I don’t think it will change now. Privacy is being invaded, and women’s dignity is being violated in broad daylight. Yet, the authorities remain silent. What was the police doing when these videos were being recorded? Strict action must be taken against the culprits, and better security measures should be put in place to ensure such incidents never happen again.”
